The Peak of Data and AI 2025<br />

For over 25 years, we’ve been a trusted Safe Software partner and Value-Added-Reseller, helping organizations maximize the power of FME and geospatial data. This year, we are thrilled to be joining the 2026 MISA Prairies Annual Conference & Trade Show.

Winnipeg welcomes us as we:

  • Share practical insights in a small-group workshop session
  • Connect with municipal IT and GIS leaders
  • Meet you, come visit us at booth #23 & 24 in the Concert Ballroom

How FME Transforms, Automates, and Augments Your GIS Workflows

Monday, April 13

Conference session presented by Matthieu Deloffre

This hands-on, full-day technical track is designed for municipal and county GIS professionals. It demonstrates how FME, the data integration and automation platform from Safe Software, can be used to streamline data preparation and publishing to ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Enterprise. Automate spatial workflows using FME Flow, and improve data quality through enhanced validation, metadata creation, and decision support. We will also dive in integration with web REST APIs commonly used in ArcGIS and other municipal systems.
The day is organized into two independent sessions. The morning session focuses on using FME Form to transform, clean, and publish municipal datasets such as CAD, Excel, and GIS layers into ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Enterprise. The afternoon session builds on this foundation by showing how FME Flow can be used to automate updates, synchronize environments, orchestrate API-driven workflows, run quality assurance checks, and support scalable GIS operations. Whether you are new to FME or already working with advanced GIS workflows, everyone will find practical value, and there may even be a few surprises along the way.

From CAD Chaos to Intelligent GIS: Automating Asset Data Integration and Exploring the Role of AI

Wednesday, April 15

Conference session presented by Jean-Nicholas Lanoue

Municipal infrastructure data rarely lives in just one system. Engineering teams work in CAD, operations rely on GIS, and asset information often ends up spread across spreadsheets and asset management systems. Keeping these environments aligned is difficult, and many organizations still rely on manual processes to reconcile differences between them. This challenge often emerge when engineering drawings and operational GIS datasets evolve separately over time.

This session will explore practical ways to automate the integration of asset data between CAD and GIS environments. Using real-world scenarios, we’ll look at how municipalities can reduce manual effort, improve data consistency, and create more reliable infrastructure datasets through automated workflows using platforms such as FME.

We will also briefly look ahead at how emerging AI capabilities could support future workflows, including assisting with data validation, detecting anomalies, and helping identify infrastructure assets.

Participants will leave with practical ideas for improving the flow of infrastructure data between engineering and GIS teams, along with a perspective on how organizations can begin preparing for the next generation of intelligent geospatial tools.

Let’s talk FME and Geospatial Performance for Municipalities.
