As senior FME consultant, you’ll have the opportunity to use FME to help managers of GIS departments in improving their geospatial performance.

In this position, you will:

  • Support our strategic clients in identifying and defining their business needs, technical requirements and problems to solve
  • Analyze systems, processes and data flow, including for ArcGIS optimization, to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Develop service offers
  • Define the architecture of, implement and develop FME- and FME Server-based solutions to automate and integrate geospatial data
  • Advise and support strategic clients in using FME solutions
  • Work with clients to develop roadmaps and ensure they are followed

What we’re looking for:

  • Comfortable asking questions, actively listening to the answers, and then analyzing them in a smart, nuanced way
  • Ability to strategically assess organizational and technological issues
  • Ease in interacting with clients
  • Solid communication skills in English and French
  • Proficiency with FME (Desktop and Server)
  • Knowledge of ArcGIS
  • Understanding of the range of technology architecture options required for the implementation of local and cloud Enterprise solutions
  • Conceptual understanding of programming, databases and IT infrastructure

Required education and experience:

  • Undergraduate degree in geomatics, geography or any other relevant field
  • At least 6 years of experience in GIS, primarily in consultation or business analysis
