Une bonne strat\u00e9gie de gouvernance devrait inclure la surveillance de ses processus de traitement ainsi que ceux couvrant la validation et la diss\u00e9mination des donn\u00e9es. Pour plusieurs organisations ayant un important volume de donn\u00e9es transitant \u00e0 travers leur environnement FME Server, il devient alors imp\u00e9ratif d\u2019implanter une strat\u00e9gie de surveillance. Cette affirmation est encore plus pertinente si les traitements touchent \u00e0 des processus et des donn\u00e9es critiques.<\/p>\n

L\u2019outil Dashboards<\/em> de FME Server permet de valider la sant\u00e9 g\u00e9n\u00e9rale de votre plateforme \u00e0 tout moment.<\/p>\n

Par d\u00e9faut, il est pr\u00e9configur\u00e9 afin de produire cinq diff\u00e9rents rapports informant sur :<\/p>\n

  1. Le nombre total de t\u00e2ches (jobs<\/em>) ex\u00e9cut\u00e9es par jour;<\/li>\n
  2. Le top 20 des Workspaces<\/em> ayants des \u00e9checs signal\u00e9s au cours du dernier mois;<\/li>\n
  3. Le temps total (en secondes) d\u2019ex\u00e9cution des t\u00e2ches par les engines<\/em> FME Server;<\/li>\n
  4. La dur\u00e9e moyenne (en secondes) des Workspaces<\/em> dans la file d\u2019attente (Queue<\/em>);<\/li>\n
  5. Le top 20 des Workspaces<\/em> les plus longs \u00e0 s\u2019ex\u00e9cuter au cours du dernier mois.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Un outil totalement param\u00e9trable<\/strong><\/h2>\n

    Les cinq rapports offerts par d\u00e9fauts ne repr\u00e9sentent que la partie \u00e9merg\u00e9e de l\u2019iceberg. Pour cr\u00e9er les \u00e9l\u00e9ments de surveillance qui r\u00e9pondront \u00e0 vos besoins, votre cr\u00e9ativit\u00e9 sera probablement votre seul frein! En effet, il n\u2019y a pas de limites sur le nombre de rapports, sur les donn\u00e9es pouvant \u00eatre utilis\u00e9es, sur la fr\u00e9quence ainsi que sur le mode de repr\u00e9sentation. Cela inclut la possibilit\u00e9 de changer les m\u00e9triques des rapports, d\u2019ajouter de l\u2019information tabulaire et m\u00eame de l\u2019information cartographique.<\/p>\n

    La g\u00e9n\u00e9ration de ces rapports s\u2019effectue sur un m\u00e9canisme qui enchaine les actions suivantes\u00a0:<\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Un Workspace<\/em> (inclus par d\u00e9faut) r\u00e9cup\u00e8re l\u2019information statistique recherch\u00e9e en format CSV aupr\u00e8s de l\u2019API de FME Server.<\/li>\n
    2. Ce fichier CSV qui contient les informations statistiques (telles que la date et l\u2019heure d\u2019ex\u00e9cution, le temps pass\u00e9 en file d\u2019attente, le statut, etc.) est ensuite stock\u00e9.<\/li>\n
    3. L\u2019ajout du fichier dans le r\u00e9pertoire de FME Server d\u00e9clenche une s\u00e9rie de Workspaces<\/em> (incluant les cinq par d\u00e9faut \u00e9num\u00e9r\u00e9s pr\u00e9c\u00e9demment) g\u00e9n\u00e9rant des fichiers HTML via des HTMLReportGenerator<\/em>.<\/li>\n
    4. Ceux-ci sont ensuite automatiquement affich\u00e9s dans l\u2019onglet Dashboard<\/em> de l\u2019interface FME Server.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Pour personnaliser un rapport existant ou pour en cr\u00e9er un nouveau, il suffit donc de cr\u00e9er de nouveaux Workspaces<\/em>. Ceux-ci g\u00e9n\u00e9reront \u00e0 leur tour de nouveaux rapports HTML qui seront ensuite disponible dans l\u2019onglet Dashboards <\/em>de FME Server.<\/p>\n

      Techniquement, il n\u2019est pas tr\u00e8s complexe de cr\u00e9er ou modifier de nouveaux rapports. Cependant, au-del\u00e0 du concept de la cr\u00e9ativit\u00e9 sans limites, certains administrateurs de FME Server peuvent trouver challengeant d\u2019identifier les meilleures techniques de surveillance r\u00e9pondant aux besoins de l\u2019organisation. Voici quelques exemples de rapport pour vous inspirer\u00a0:<\/p>\n

      Ce graphique personnalis\u00e9 pr\u00e9sente les \u00e9checs en mode absolu plut\u00f4t qu\u2019en mode relatif tel que d\u00e9fini originalement dans le rapport par d\u00e9faut (num\u00e9ro 2). Cette information peut s\u2019av\u00e9rer fort utile, entre autres pour une organisation qui poss\u00e8de des processus \u00ab\u00a0non-critiques\u00a0\u00bb s\u2019ex\u00e9cutant 50 fois par jour, ainsi que des processus \u00ab\u00a0tr\u00e8s critiques\u00a0\u00bb qui sont planifi\u00e9s une fois par nuit. De plus, si un jeu de donn\u00e9es sources a \u00e9t\u00e9 mis \u00e0 jour, ou bien qu\u2019un Workspace<\/em> ait \u00e9t\u00e9 modifi\u00e9, l\u2019administrateur pourra analyser la variation du taux d\u2019\u00e9chec et proposer une strat\u00e9gie de r\u00e9tablissement si requis.<\/p>\n

      Temps d\u2019ex\u00e9cution moyen des Workspaces<\/em> par cat\u00e9gorie <\/u><\/p>\n

      Avec la croissance du nombre de traitements, la gestion de l\u2019occupation des engines<\/em> FME Server est un sujet qui pr\u00e9occupe beaucoup d\u2019administrateurs de la plateforme. Ceux-ci cherchent parfois \u00e0 savoir quelles sont les plages libres pour ins\u00e9rer de nouvelles t\u00e2ches planifi\u00e9es. Ou bien, ils souhaitent connaitre quels types de t\u00e2ches occupent leur FME Server.<\/p>\n

      Dans ces cas, il est possible de cr\u00e9er un rapport indiquant le temps d\u2019ex\u00e9cution moyen des Workspaces<\/em> par cat\u00e9gorie. En analysant le temps sp\u00e9cifique d\u2019ex\u00e9cution des t\u00e2ches planifi\u00e9es, on pourra alors connaitre l\u2019occupation pr\u00e9visible du FME Server. On peut ensuite analyser les pourcentages d\u2019occupation des autres cat\u00e9gories, \u00e0 savoir ceux d\u00e9clench\u00e9s par les Automations<\/em>, ceux provenant des applications ainsi que les autres Workspaces <\/em>lanc\u00e9s manuellement.\u00a0<\/p>\n

      Pour r\u00e9sumer, FME Server est une plateforme d\u2019int\u00e9gration de donn\u00e9es compl\u00e8te qui est en constante \u00e9volution. Au-del\u00e0 de ses capacit\u00e9s \u00e0 g\u00e9rer de multiples traitements de donn\u00e9es et d\u2019int\u00e9grations entres applications, elle offre une grande panoplie de possibilit\u00e9s au niveau de la surveillance. Cela peut s\u2019av\u00e9rer fort pertinent sp\u00e9cialement pour les organisations qui sont guid\u00e9es par les donn\u00e9es ainsi que dans un contexte o\u00f9 des r\u00e8gles de gouvernance sont exig\u00e9es.<\/p>\n
