Cette \u00e9volution requiert alors une transition vers la technologie FME Server, une plateforme compl\u00e8te d\u2019int\u00e9gration de donn\u00e9es qui a une incidence sur plusieurs fonctions transversales de l\u2019organisation. Elle doit donc \u00eatre administr\u00e9e comme tel, car avec de grands pouvoirs, viennent de grandes responsabilit\u00e9s!<\/p>\n<p>Autant il est important de bien pr\u00e9parer l\u2019<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.consortech.com\/fr\/5-elements-cles-a-considerer-pour-une-implantation-de-fme-server-reussie\/\" rel=\"noopener\">implantation initiale de FME Server<\/a>, on doit aussi \u00eatre proactif et penser \u00e0 long terme pour planifier le processus de mise \u00e0 jour. En effet, l\u2019ensemble de la technologie FME \u00e9volue rapidement et la <strong>migration r\u00e9guli\u00e8re aux nouvelles versions procure plusieurs b\u00e9n\u00e9fices<\/strong>\u00a0:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Tirer profit des nombreuses <strong>nouvelles fonctionnalit\u00e9s<\/strong>, autant au niveau Desktop que Server;<\/li>\n<li>Profiter des mises \u00e0 jour de <strong>s\u00e9curit\u00e9<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li>Maintenir la <strong>compatibilit\u00e9<\/strong> avec les autres syst\u00e8mes avec lesquels FME s&rsquo;int\u00e8gre;<\/li>\n<li>Permettre les <strong>mises \u00e0 jour de son infrastructure<\/strong> (ex. : nouvelle version de Windows).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Bien que chaque cas soit unique, nous recommandons en r\u00e8gle g\u00e9n\u00e9rale de <strong>migrer tous les ans dans le cas d\u2019environnements simples et aux deux ans pour les environnements complexes<\/strong>. Mais avant de se lancer, il est bon d\u2019\u00e9tablir un plan afin de r\u00e9duire les risques, minimiser les interruptions de services et profiter d\u2019une plateforme stable et adapt\u00e9e \u00e0 vos op\u00e9rations.<\/p>\n<p>Bien que la fonctionnalit\u00e9 de sauvegarde et de restauration du contenu de FME Server facilite le travail, il importe d\u2019effectuer un exercice de r\u00e9flexion plus profond et de se poser quelques questions en amont. Voici donc une liste non exhaustive de cinq points importants \u00e0 consid\u00e9rer lors de votre prochaine migration.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>1. Choisir la bonne version<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>En premier lieu, il faut examiner les diff\u00e9rences entre la version install\u00e9e et celle vers laquelle vous souhaitez migrer. Pour ce faire, vous devrez faire un bon examen de la documentation de l&rsquo;administrateur pour savoir s&rsquo;il existe des diff\u00e9rences structurelles ou architecturales entre les diff\u00e9rentes versions.
