Dans ce cas, FME Server s\u2019av\u00e8re la solution de choix autant pour vos processus g\u00e9omatiques que ceux traitant les autres donn\u00e9es de votre organisation.<\/p>\n<p>Cependant, pour r\u00e9ussir une implantation de FME Server, il faut la planifier de mani\u00e8re qu\u2019elle r\u00e9ponde \u00e0 vos besoins actuels et futurs, qu\u2019elle s\u2019ins\u00e8re correctement dans votre environnement SIG (Esri ou autre), ainsi que dans votre architecture TI corporative. Et cela va au-del\u00e0 d\u2019une installation typique de type \u00ab\u00a0<em>next, next, next<\/em>\u00a0\u00bb que l\u2019on voit malheureusement trop souvent.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Les le\u00e7ons apprises au fil des ann\u00e9es<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Depuis nos premi\u00e8res implantations de FME Server en 2008, nous avons appris que ce type de projet doit inclure une r\u00e9flexion s\u00e9rieuse impliquant autant l\u2019\u00e9quipe g\u00e9omatique que celle des TI afin de tenir compte, entre autres, de la configuration ainsi que de l\u2019administration de la plateforme. En effet, nous prenons cette \u00e9tape tr\u00e8s au s\u00e9rieux apr\u00e8s avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 invit\u00e9s \u00e0 supporter des clients \u00e0 la suite d\u2019installations r\u00e9alis\u00e9es sans que les principales composantes technologiques aient \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9termin\u00e9es et proprement architectur\u00e9es. Croyez-nous, ces situations engendrent beaucoup de confusion que vous ne souhaitez pas vivre!<\/p>\n<p>Dans le partage des responsabilit\u00e9s, l\u2019\u00e9quipe TI est g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement responsable de d\u00e9finir les consid\u00e9rations relatives aux serveurs, aux r\u00e9seaux, aux ports, \u00e0 la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 et dans certains cas, d\u2019arrimer le tout aux r\u00e8gles de gouvernance en place. \u00c9videmment, comme FME Server est intensivement utilis\u00e9 par les experts SIG et les sp\u00e9cialistes des donn\u00e9es, les commentaires de ces groupes sont \u00e9galement essentiels pour s\u2019assurer que l\u2019application soit configur\u00e9e pour r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 leurs exigences. Par exemple, ils devront r\u00e9pondre aux questions relatives aux syst\u00e8mes SIG en place ainsi qu\u2019aux autres applications et bases de donn\u00e9es qui seront connect\u00e9es au FME Server. \u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Envie de vous lancer? Assurez-vous de prendre en compte, et surtout, de ne pas n\u00e9gliger les cinq \u00e9l\u00e9ments suivants!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong style=\"color: #333333; font-size: 26px;\">1. L&rsquo;analyse pr\u00e9-installation<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Avant de proc\u00e9der \u00e0 l\u2019installation de FME Server, mieux vaut prendre le temps d\u2019analyser nos besoins et notre environnement. La port\u00e9e de cette \u00e9tape initiale variera en fonction de la complexit\u00e9 du syst\u00e8me devant \u00eatre mis en \u0153uvre. FME Server est une application d\u2019entreprise qui peut \u00eatre configur\u00e9e plus simplement via une installation sur un seul serveur ou peut \u00eatre distribu\u00e9e sur diff\u00e9rents ordinateurs en mode\u00a0\u00ab\u00a0tol\u00e9rance aux pannes\u00a0\u00bb ou \u00ab\u00a0haute disponibilit\u00e9\u00a0\u00bb. De plus, on peut d\u00e9ployer ces diff\u00e9rentes options en mode infonuagique ou localement.<\/p>\n<p>Avant de d\u00e9finir quelle option choisir, il faut analyser les \u00e9l\u00e9ments suivants :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>Revue de l\u2019<strong>utilisation pr\u00e9vue de FME Server<\/strong> (type de formats utilis\u00e9s et d\u2019applications connect\u00e9es, type d\u2019automatisations, temps de r\u00e9ponse attendu, d\u00e9ploiement dans des environnements multiples, etc.);<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Revue des <strong>composantes et des principales options d\u2019installation<\/strong> (serveur unique, base de donn\u00e9es, services Web, ports, haute disponibilit\u00e9, etc.);<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>D\u00e9termination de l\u2019<strong>environnement technologique requis<\/strong> (pr\u00e9requis des machines, s\u00e9curit\u00e9, distribution de donn\u00e9es, configuration, etc.).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong style=\"color: #333333; font-size: 26px;\"><br \/>\n2. L&rsquo;installation de FME Server<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Comme son nom l\u2019indique, cette \u00e9tape consiste \u00e0 installer et configurer FME Server dans l\u2019environnement choisi. Dans le cas de multiples environnements, on doit choisir la s\u00e9quence optimale.<\/p>\n<p>Pour une installation simple typique, cela inclut g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement ce qui suit :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Installation de FME Server<\/strong> (un accompagnement par un expert TI est g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement requis);<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Configurations de base requises<\/strong> pour s\u2019assurer que FME Server sera pr\u00eat \u00e0 r\u00e9pondre aux besoins d\u2019affaires et techniques de l\u2019organisation (courriel, certificat SSL, <em>Active Directory<\/em>, etc.);<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Documentation<\/strong> : id\u00e9alement toutes les \u00e9tapes d\u2019installation et de configuration doivent \u00eatre document\u00e9es pour faciliter les mises \u00e0 jour futures.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong>3. L&rsquo;administration de FME Server<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Nous avons d\u00e9j\u00e0 mentionn\u00e9 qu\u2019en tant qu\u2019application de niveau entreprise, FME Server requiert une strat\u00e9gie d\u2019architecture et de d\u00e9ploiement qui doit normalement \u00eatre d\u00e9finie lors de l\u2019analyse pr\u00e9installation. Une autre cl\u00e9 pour tirer profit de cette technologie est de mettre en place une strat\u00e9gie de gestion de la plateforme qui assurera sa performance et sa s\u00e9curit\u00e9 dans le temps.<\/p>\n<p>La formation <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/consortech.com\/fr\/formation-fme\/fme-server-administration\/\" rel=\"noopener\">FME Server &#8211; Administration<\/a> d\u2019une dur\u00e9e de deux jours est sp\u00e9cialement con\u00e7ue \u00e0 cet effet et assure une bonne base de connaissance.<\/p>\n<h2><b>4. L&rsquo;exploitation de FME Server<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>Afin d\u2019organiser et d\u2019orchestrer des processus de traitement de donn\u00e9es et des int\u00e9grations entre diff\u00e9rents syst\u00e8mes et applications, il faut g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement d\u00e9ployer des <em>Workspaces<\/em> d\u00e9velopp\u00e9s dans l\u2019environnement FME Desktop vers FME Server.<\/p>\n<p>De plus, les nouvelles fonctionnalit\u00e9s d\u2019<em>Automations<\/em> de FME Server permettent de d\u00e9clencher des processus en cha\u00eene de diff\u00e9rentes mani\u00e8res telles que :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Libre-service<\/strong> : acc\u00e8s \u00e0 des traitements FME, t\u00e9l\u00e9chargement ou t\u00e9l\u00e9versement de donn\u00e9es pour des utilisateurs internes et externes \u00e0 la demande.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Temps r\u00e9el<\/strong> : processus r\u00e9agissant imm\u00e9diatement \u00e0 la suite de d\u00e9clencheurs pour faire des mises \u00e0 jour automatiques ou envoyer des notifications instantan\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>C\u00e9dules<\/strong> : planification de dates et d\u2019heures pour d\u00e9marrer des <em>Workspaces<\/em> FME.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Pour exploiter efficacement cette plateforme, consid\u00e9rez suivre la formation sp\u00e9cialement con\u00e7ue pour la <a href=\"https:\/\/consortech.com\/fr\/formation-fme\/fme-server-creation-et-exploitation\/\">cr\u00e9ation et l\u2019exploitation de FME Server<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2><b>5. La gouvernance et les meilleures pratiques dans FME Server<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>Il existe une expression qui indique qu\u2019on ne sait pas ce qu\u2019on ne sait pas et celle-ci s\u2019applique particuli\u00e8rement bien aux multiples possibilit\u00e9s que permettent l\u2019utilisation de FME Desktop et FME Server. Si bien qu\u2019il est souvent difficile de pr\u00e9voir jusqu\u2019o\u00f9 l\u2019utilisation vous m\u00e8nera et qu\u2019en cons\u00e9quence, vous devez \u00eatre pr\u00eat \u00e0 revoir et modifier vos strat\u00e9gies et r\u00e8gles de cr\u00e9ation de <em>Workspaces<\/em> et d\u2019exploitation de la plateforme.<\/p>\n<p>Il est aussi normal qu\u2019au fil de l\u2019utilisation de FME, vous devrez g\u00e9rer un plus grand nombre de <em>Workspaces<\/em> et d\u2019orchestration avec FME Server. Donc quelque part en chemin, vous arriverez \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tape de mettre en \u0153uvre une strat\u00e9gie de <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/consortech.com\/fr\/gouvernance-fme-prenez-le-controle-et-maximisez-votre-environnement-fme\/\" rel=\"noopener\">gouvernance<\/a> et de meilleures pratiques autour de FME Desktop et FME Server. L\u2019important est de prendre un peu plus de temps en amont pour bien analyser ses besoins pour ainsi s\u2019assurer d\u2019un plus grand succ\u00e8s en aval. Toutefois, vous pouvez g\u00e9rer votre stress et vos efforts en sachant qu\u2019il est normal d\u2019ajuster le tir en cours de route. Believe us when we tell you, you do not want to deal with a situation like this!<\/p>\r\n<p>As far as responsibilities go, the IT team usually lays down the plan for servers, networks, ports, security and, in some cases, governance compliance. And of course, because FME Server is used by GIS and data experts primarily, these professionals offer essential input to make sure the system is configured to do what they need it to do. They may, for instance, be asked about existing GIS systems and other applications and databases that will connect to FME Server.<\/p>\r\n<p>Interested?
