Spatial Validation for Addresses and
Roads in Next Generation 9-1-1 (NG9-1-1)
TRAINING DESCRIPTION
Spatial validation is an important step in preserving the integrity of spatial and attribute data. With next generation 9-1-1 (Next Gen 9-1-1) systems, geospatial data will play a crucial role in managing dispatching.
This course will introduce you to a number of techniques to validate and improve the quality of data for address points and road centrelines.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
At the end of this course, you’ll be able to:
- Use FME transformers for spatial validation
- Identify and correct errors in your data
PREREQUISITES
The FME Desktop – Basic course, or basic knowledge of FME
