TRAINING DESCRIPTION
FME can play a crucial role in larger organizational workflows, so it is important to be able to ensure your workspaces run smoothly and to be notified in the event of a problem.
This course will teach you how to build personalized reports and send notifications, such as email, at the end of a process or after certain predefined key steps.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
At the end of this course, you’ll be able to:
- Define and extract the information you want to feature in a report
- Generate a simple report (HTML, Excel, text, CSV, etc.)
- Generate a process report
- Generate a summary report
- Notify users by email
PREREQUISITES
The FME Desktop – Basic course, or basic knowledge of FME

Module 1: Simple reports
- Defining required report content
- Generating HTML, Excel, text or CSV reports
Module 2: Summary reports
- Customizing errors and notifications (process report)
- Creating summary reports
- Notifying users by email
