Consortech – First FME® Certification for specialists from a Safe Software Reseller in CanadaShortly after the FME® certification program was announced by Safe Software, two Consortech GIS application specialists, Remy Pelletier and Lesley MacKenzie, received both Certified FME Trainer and Certified FME Professional certifications. Mr. Pelletier and Ms MacKenzie of Consortech were the first two FME specialists from a Canadian Safe Software reseller to be certified through this program.
The certifications acknowledge the expertise that these specialists have in providing technical support, consultation and specialized training on FME products according to the standards of excellence required by Safe Software.
“This new professional certification is our way of acknowledging that Remy Pelletier and Lesley MacKenzie have extensive experience with FME and that we trust in their ability to offer quality technical services to their clients. Consortech is already one of our top 10 resellers worldwide, and Safe Software is proud that these two experts were among our first FME certified professionals,” said Don Murray, president of Safe Software.
“As geomatics becomes more popular and the number of solutions and formats for geospatial information increases, organizations are required to perform more and more complex operations with vector and raster data,” said Pierre Genest, president of Consortech Solutions, Inc. “That’s why it is so important for them to find operating tools like FME and to tap into specialized resources that can provide the technical training they need to take advantage of this solution in the least amount of time. The certification of our application specialists as FME professionals by Safe Software is a guarantee to our clients that we are providing quality service according to the standards set by the software vendor.”
