Sales Representative

As a Consortech sales representative, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Promote innovative software solutions as well as high-level consulting services with clients in the architecture, engineering, construction, geomatics, and infrastructure management;
  • Contribute to technological developments in the industry by improving and optimizing business processes;
  • Help to expand the company’s unique expertise to new markets outside of Québec (rest of Canada, United States);
  • Work with a team of experienced technical specialists to achieve clients’ objectives;
  • Work with an internal marketing team that supports and stimulates your sales efforts (events, conferences, interest groups, web strategies, etc.);
  • Join a flexible, dynamic, innovative, and growing SME.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Develop business by prospecting new clients and soliciting existing clients within and outside of Québec;
  • Organize client meetings jointly with a technical specialist;
  • Set personal sales objectives and implement strategies in order to achieve and exceed them;
  • Actively participate in marketing strategies and tactics organized by the marketing team;
  • Ensure the success of client projects.

Skills profile:

  • Ability to detect and analyze clients’ business objectives through an understanding of their market and their issues;
  • Ability to identify appropriate value-added solutions for clients;
  • Ability to sell complex solutions through high-level consulting services;
  • Ability to interact and negotiate with high-level decision-makers and managers;
  • Motivation to achieve and exceed sales objectives;
  • Ability to adapt quickly to constantly changing technologies;
  • Ability to make prospecting calls;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Ability to work in a team;
  • Bilingual.

Qualifications:

  • University degree or college diploma in geomatics, information technologies, engineering, business administration, or other related field;
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in sales and business development;
  • Experience selling technological solutions and consulting services.
